Today, horses, cows, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats live here peacefully, each with their own story, their own personality, and their own unique way of seeing the world.
Why This Place Exists
Sometimes, a single realization can change your entire life.
For us, it was the realization that we no longer wanted to judge animals by their species or by what they could offer us.
We don't see a cow.
We don't see a horse.
We don't see a dog or a cat.
We see a living being.
A being that feels joy and fear, forms friendships, grieves, plays, stays curious, and is capable of trust.
Every animal has its own personality, its own story, and deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
The value of a life is not determined by its species, but by life itself.
That belief is what gave birth to Quinta Pé-da-Serra.
