On about 100 hectares in the south of Portugal, we share the space with rescued horses, cows and goats. A place of hills, fields and dusty paths, over which the wind almost never stands still.

You arrive and simply are. In the morning, even before the sun, you hear the first sounds from the farm: first the animals, then the people. You drink coffee outside, while the light slowly moves over the fields and the day begins without haste.

A few steps across the yard. Animals in the morning light. Paths leading into the open landscape. It is this moment, to stop and just look. Here the small things come back:

 * A special stone by the roadside.

 * Clouds that turn into stories while lying in the grass.

 * The dust on your shoes after a day outside.

 * The feeling that time feels different here.

Later, we sit together outside for a long time. The food on the table, the voices grow quieter until the farm sinks into complete silence.
