Paradise Valley Ranch – A Place for Animals. A Place for Connection.

In 2023, we - a family of five- left behind our dairy farm and cheese dairy in Bavaria, Germany, and set out on a new path — together with all of our animals. That meant 27 cows, 12 goats, 5 horses, several cats, dogs, and one brave little chicken. Our destination: Portugal. Our purpose: to give our animals a life of freedom, dignity, and peace.

This journey gave birth to our heart project: Paradise Valley Ranch — a sanctuary where animals live free from exploitation, simply as they are. Over time, more souls found their way to us - since we moved in, we have taken in :13 horses, 8 sheep, 4 dogs and 2 cats .

Here, every animal is seen as an individual, with their own character, history, and soul. Our ranch is not just a safe haven — it's a place of healing, connection, and transformation. For animals. For people.

With great love and care, we’ve created a space where humans and animals can meet in a spirit of respect and compassion. Our comfortable wooden cabins offer visitors the chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the deep presence and wisdom of animals.
